The picture comes from an image model (Recraft, via Vercel AI Gateway). The movement is added in your browser with camera-style motion: zoom, pan, float, pulse, shake or spin. That keeps generation fast and cheap, and the loop always closes perfectly because the motion is mathematically periodic.
Your text prompt is sent to the image model through Vercel AI Gateway to create the picture. It is not stored by GifCraft. Uploaded files are never sent anywhere.
To keep it free, each visitor can generate a few images per hour.
